سازمان غیر دولتی «HELPING ORPHAN» که مقرش در بریتانیا است، به حدود پنج‌ صد خانواده در لوگر کمک های غذایی کرده است.
زلزله و دیگر رویدادهای طبیعی این خانواده‌ها را به ولایت لوگر بیجا کرده است.
سمیع الرحمن، هماهنگ کننده این سازمان گفته که این مواد غذایی شامل آرد، برنج، چای، لوبیا، شکر، نمک و ماکارونی می‌شود.
زلزله در ماه جون سال روان میلادی در ولایت‌های پکتیکا و خوست و سیلاب‌های ویرانگر در بخش‌های مختلف کشور، تلفات جانی و مالی زیادی به مردم وارد کرده است.
